Rise Up Teen Summit
The Rise Up Teen Summit, founded by London Miller and hosted by The LondonAid Project, focuses on addressing mental health challenges among teens by creating a platform for open, supportive conversations between teens and their parents. The summit has impacted over 400 kids and seeks to expand its reach by collaborating with various organizations to connect with youth from under-resourced communities.
Previously partnered with Second Baptist Church Youth Ministry, the summit is now evolving into a podcast with a more intimate format, featuring a smaller audience of around 20 teens and parents. This shift is aimed at fostering more personal and in-depth discussions on mental health topics. The podcast episodes will be recorded and broadcast across major platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify, allowing the conversation to reach a wider audience.
Although the podcast series will focus on smaller, more focused gatherings, the summit will continue to host one large event annually. This major event will include performances, impactful discussions, and a safe space for teens to voice their experiences and concerns, helping them build stronger support systems and connections.
